Important questions about applying for tuition assignments and commission rules.

How do I register as a tutor?

You register with your name, mobile number, email, qualification, teaching experience, subjects, levels, availability, and expected rate.

Must my tutor account be approved?

Yes. Tutor accounts may be reviewed by admin before they can fully apply for assignments.

How will I receive assignments?

You may receive suitable assignment invitations by email, dashboard notification, and Telegram assignment channels.

How do I apply for an assignment?

You submit your proposed rate, available timing, earliest start date, application message, and agreement to Grade Improve’s commission terms.

When will the parent see my contact details?

Your contact details are revealed to the parent only after the parent shortlists you.

How much commission do I need to pay?

Commission is equal to one lesson tuition fee, based on the final agreed hourly rate multiplied by the final agreed lesson duration.

When do I pay commission?

You pay commission after the first lesson is completed and the parent confirms you as the selected tutor.

What if the final rate changes after discussion with the parent?

The commission is based on the final agreed rate and duration after the first lesson, not only the original proposed rate.

What happens if commission is unpaid?

Your tutor account may be restricted from applying for new assignments until outstanding commission is settled.

What are the Telegram channels for?

Telegram channels publicise open assignments by broad category: Primary, Secondary, JC/A-Level, and International Syllabus.
